It’s so awful, they’re sold at beaches here in Maine too and temps are down to even -20 F sometimes in winter with wind chill :(

I always try and buy my hermit crabs from pets mart or beach shops instead of places that take care of them since it’s easy

I love Hermit crabs and when i go to the beach ı love to take them up and look at them and let them walk on my hand but i don't take them out .

Where I work sells them 😞 but we don’t throw them out. I actually have like 30 at home right now because our store doesnt have heat. It’s temporary. My coworker also took what she could.
