⬇️Greetings in Kiswahili!👋 1. Mambo? / Mambo vipi? - How is it going? 💪🏾 Originaly this word means “affairs”, so practically you are asking someone how their life is going. The word “vipi” means “how”. You can either use it or not. 👋 The most popular answer here would be “poa”/“poapoa” = “good”. 2. Shikamoo 🙄 This greeting has no litarate translation and no one knows for sure where it originates from. The only thing you need to know here is that whenever you want to say “Mambo?” to an older person use “Shikamoo” instead, otherwise you’ll get in trouble 🤭 In return you’ll hear “Marahaba”, this comes from Arabic and is considered to mean that the old/older person you are talking to is blessing you. 2. Hujambo? - Sijambo!👌🏻For now just remember this pair and use it when you talk to one person. You ask them “Hujambo?” (Are you okay?), they rythmicall respond “Sijambo” (I’m fine). 3.
