Yeah, wouldn’t it be nice to troubleshoot an electrical problem with all of your wire exposed. That’s never the case.

I went on a service call today , customer said the outlets in the kitchen weren't working , told them to rest the gfi they said they did, I drove hour and half one way to reset the gfi .

check for proper power at the socket! Different lamps take different Voltages from their ballasts (unless residential, they're LED mostly)
