@misc.m: (From drafts) Ever had this fruit? Hawaiians call it hala. Marshallese call it bõb. Scientific name, pandanus. Native plant to both places but not really eaten in hawaii (that i’ve seen). But THRIVES in the marshall islands heat. Its sweet, but not too sweet. Almost like mago nectar, but has its own distinctive taste. The bristles get stuck between your teeth and cleans them as you eat it..like a toothbrush. Ermm, still brush ur teeth doe 😂 #pacificislanders #nativefruits #oceania
