@diane_lauren: Had a blast running with the @BlackToe Running crew last Sunday! I’ve been trying to slowly come back to training post marathon, but the truth is it’s been a lot more difficult than I anticipated. It’s been 4 weeks now and I’m still barely averaging 1-2 runs a week. I had heard the marathon takes a long time to recover from but I don’t think I fully understood until now just how difficult it would be. I’m trying to remind myself to stay patient and to not compare myself to others who have been able to ramp back up quicker than me. I trust my coach and my body to build back stronger and use this down time to reset, enjoy life, and get even stronger!
