@jujumaoo: Chicharon Bulaklak Guacamole 🥑🐷 This is the final ep of Chicharon S1 🫶 What better way to end it with my favorite chicharon of all time!! Philippine’s very own Chicharon Bulaklak! Commonly served with vinegar but I thought this would be good with extra tangy guacamole. I would eat this everyday if it wasn’t so rich 😅 INGREDIENTS: Chicharon bulaklak: - Chicharon bulaklak (ruffle fats) - Vinegar - salt, peppercorn - Onions, garlic, ginger, bayleaf Guacamole: - 2 Avocados - 2 Tomatoes (diced) - 2 Jalapenos (to taste if you want it less spicy) - 1/2 Red Onion (diced) - 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped) - Juice of 1 large lime (or to taste) - Salt to taste INSTRUCTIONS: - Wash chicharon bulaklak in vinegar and salt. Rinse with water and add into a pot with onions, garlic, ginger, salt, peppercorns and bayleaf. Cover with water and boil for 40mins - 1hr. Drain and set aside to cool in fridge for 2 hrs. - Fry chicharon at around 150C for 10-15 mins. Drain and let cool for 30 mins. - Fry at a higher temp 175 + for around 3-5 mins. Drain and set aside. - To make guacamole, just combine the listed ingredients and mash them to your desired consistency (smooth/chunky) - Serve and enjoy! 🫶 #chicharron #chicharonguacamole #filipinofood #pinoyfood #pinoycooking #cookingasmr #asmr
