@wildlife_rescuers: The cassowary is a large, flightless bird native to the tropical forests of New Guinea, nearby islands, and northern Australia. Known for its striking blue and black plumage and a helmet-like casque on its head, the cassowary is considered one of the world's most dangerous birds due to its powerful legs and sharp, dagger-like claws. Interestingly, cassowaries are excellent swimmers.
