I recently saw a video of someone showcasing their wolf dog where it was barking and growling at her to the point she had to cover her neck..so yes..

1000%! I'm so tired of people getting animals because they look cute, pretty, tough, etc and not really understanding what they are getting.

The vast majority of people should not own a first or even second generation hybrid unless they absolutely know how to handle them. They’re still wild

Definitely. I see people with small children and pet raccoons all the time and it’s a disaster waiting to happen.

I don't think I would trust my beagle mix around a newborn bc he's got a high prey drive. I can't imagine letting a wolf hybrid near a baby

No one should own a wolf dog and they should not be bred. The parents should be held responsible, absolutely! Exotic or not.

I don’t care what type of breed the dog is you should never leave a dog unattended with a baby EVER!!!

As someone who got a wolfdog when uneducated, no one should own a wolfdog. They're unpredictable and wild animals.

I think people are way too inappropriately casual about letting their babies chill with their large dogs. It’s always “oh she wouldn’t hurt a fly”

My dogs are my first babies, my world, but I’m currently pregnant and they will never be alone with the child. Safety for both of them.

This unfortunately can happen regardless of the breed. it's the temperament of the animal that leads to these issues.

I had a wolf shepherd, she was the sweetest thing. She was also heavily trained. The owners need to be held responsible.

I would have thought pet owners are legally responsible for any pets they have? can I ask what the difference is with exotics?

It’s such a big fear for me, my dog has never bitten anyone since I’ve had him (shelter baby) but doesn’t mean I’m willing to let him near my 2mo old

There are certain breeds you shouldn’t get if you plan on having young children, especially after getting the dog, since it’s adding to the pack..

I dated a man who had a wolf hybrid. smartest "dog" I've ever met. this wolf would wait patiently while my small, spoiled house cat ate out of his bow

I have 2 mastiffs one is 8 one is a puppy. I don’t even leave my kids alone with them. I don’t fully trust the kids or the dogs. It takes 1 second of impulse for disaster.
