Reversers are not needed. MLG brakes do about 80% of stopping. FAA req'd them on inboard engs of A380 or Airbus wanted to delete them to save weight

on some airports its not allowed to use RT or at specific times or only RT at Idle.

Extending its rollout to have a shorter taxi. Or its light coming in from Cardiff so doesn’t need the reversers.

This is possible in the case of light weight or a technical or mechanical failure. Do not forget also the appropriate length of the runway.

The pilots know their terminal and gate is at the very end of that long runway so roll it out.

Just got off a BA 777 into Gatwick and noticed no thrust reverser .. plane wasn’t light either only 4 empty seats 😅

Sometimes when a pilot have everything is precise they can just use auto brakes and spoilers and no RT
