@hannahjudithmakes: Cinnamon Rolls yes these are time consuming and yes these are worth it.
RECIPE (makes 2 dozen)
6 2/3 C. Flour (divided in half)
3.4 oz pack instant vanilla pudding
3/4 C. Dry milk (toasted)
3 1/4 tsp. Rapid yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C. Oil (canola or vegetable)
2 eggs, room temp
2 1/4 C. warm water
*1/2 c. Heavy cream or half + half (this is for pouring over cinnamon rolls just before baking)
FILLING
2 sticks butter, softened
4 Tbs cinnamon
2 c dark brown sugar
Toast the dry milk in a wide saucepan over low/medium heat stirring constantly until golden. Break up any lumps and set aside to cool.
In the bowl of a kitchenaid mixer combine dry ingredients. Remember to start with half the flour (3 1/3 cup).
In a separate small bowl mix wet ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry. Begin mixing with a dough hook attachment just until combined. Slowly add the remaining flour a cup at a time (around 3 1/3 cup….you can add more if needed)
Right when the dough starts to come together stop mixing and let dough hydrate for 5 minutes. Knead on medium low for about 15 minutes.

In a separate bowl greased with butter, add dough and cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Punch dough once to release air and let rest 15 minutes. Divide dough in half. Set one half to the side and cover. Roll into a rectangle. Roughly 14” x 22”. Thickness should be between 1/8” - 1/4”. Don’t stress it doesn’t have to be perfect. Repeat with other half of dough.
Spread filling across the entirety of both rectangles. Roll up and cut each roll in 12 equal pieces. You should have 24 rolls total. Grease (2) 9”x13” baking dishes. Add 12 rolls to each dish. (IF FREEZING: Wrap up tightly, and pop in freezer for later. Or place in the fridge if planning on baking them the next day) Let rise until doubled.
*Carefully pour 1/2 c warm heavy cream over cinnies just before you pop them in the oven.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes (rotate pan half way through) until golden brown. Internal temp should be around 190 - 200 degrees F.
FROSTING
6oz Philadelphia cream cheese
6oz powdered sugar
2oz heavy cream or half + half
2 tsp pure vanilla extract (not the fake stuff plz)
1/2tsp cinnamon
Beat ingredients with a hand mixer and spread on top of warm rolls
