Today I am reviewing Assassin job in Ragnarok Online Idle Adventures. Assassin deals high burst damage with its physical skills, this job is suitable as a DPS especially in PvP. Investing in upgrades and resources for the Assassin in PvE yields significant damage output, allowing it to overcome its initial survivability challenges. Advanced Assassin has the following skills: Venom skill tree: - Stab-double Attack: Venom, Burst, Weaken - Stab-Slash: Venom, Burst, Weaken - Shadow-Assassination: Venom, Burst - Shadow-Blade Storm: Venom, Bleeding, Buff Poison skill tree: - Fierce Poison Blade: Poison, Burst - Bloody Silent Seal: Poison, Burst, Weaken - Poison Shadow Chain Attack: Poison, Bleeding - Eternal Dark Hour: Poison, Burst Fear skill tree: - Chaos-Hiding: Fear, Buff - Chaos-Improve Dodge: Fear, Burst, Interrupt, Weaken Frenzy skill tree: - Cursed Sand: Frenzy, Bleeding - Thorny Stone: Frenzy, Dispel, Buff - Shadow Fang: Frenzy, Burst, Bleeding, Interrupt - Flying Blade Stabs: Frenzy, Burst In summary, Venom and Poison skill trees are the main damage dealing skills, while Fear is the buff / debuff skills, and Frenzy is the control skills inflicting Interrupt, Bleeding, and Dispel to enemies. Looking at the Artefact progression, the current Artefact set works only for Venom and Fear skill tree, it seems that the game is directing us to start from Venom + Fear build, then progress to Poison + Fear build when we have Artefact set 4 and 5. In another note, Frenzy skill has some Artefact buff in set 3, and these Frenzy skills are actually optional, when we need to inflict controls to enemies in PvE and PvP. In this video, I am showing the Venom + Fear build, comparing game recommended stats and my stats recommendation. We are using World Boss damage count in this testing. Below are the results: - Game recommendation - STR(363) + LUK(144): 3.51 millions - STR(363) + AGI(144): 3.61 millions - Full AGI(393): 4.12 millions - Best performing - AGI(378) + LUK(102): 4.4 millions As we can see that AGI stat provides better results than STR in this current meta, due to the Artefact boost on Venom skills. LUK stats ensure that our character deals CRIT damage to the enemies as well, which is why AGI+LUK peforms better than full AGI build. Concluding this review, Assassin is one of the best DPS in this game who can solo defeat enemies in PvE and PvP, especially in AGI build and when we pump resources upgrade to provide more survivability. One weakness in this job is the SP cycling is quite bad since INT is low, therefore it needs a Priest to refill its SP during the battle so it can cast multiple skills.
