Not to mention teeth are a huge part of your health care and should be medical. Not separate ins 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s more because people can’t afford things even with insurance so they just don’t get treatment

I just learned my insurance covers 2 cleanings every 6 month period, not 2 per year. I have meds that increase plaque - WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME?!

They make it impossible for people to afford maxing their benefits. It’s a racket.

They’re using that as a cop out 🙄; however if they did raise the maximum to $3000 I wouldn’t pay anything out of pocket like I do now

I don't understand why dental, eye and medical are just ALL medical. Isn't everyone a doctor in those professions?

I wish I could believe that but my dental procedures max out with one procedure. then the rest of the year they claim it's cosmetic to have teeth.

Ummmmmmmm did it ever occur that people can’t afford high co pays and partial of the cost and the premium and maybe that’s why they don’t use it often?

Premiums are already too high for the little bit they actually cover. so if they increase the coverage, they'll definitely increase the premiums too. Insurance is for enriching shareholders not health

Sure you have $6k in benefits but they only cover 80% of a service but you are only allowed one of those services a year. Next to no point.

If they raised my benefit, I could fix majority of my teeth. I would for sure get over my dental anxiety if it meant I could get my teeth fixed.

such bullshit. I don't get insurance because it's a 1000 max, which is like 1 visit for me. I need 2 root canals and 2 implants. what's the point

In-network dentists are required to charge the negotiated rate, even after the policy is maxed out. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with dental insurance.
