u need a bigger pot n one fabric at a time n u need to constantly stir it will distribute the color evenly n won't give u the tye dye look.. make sure using the correct dye for the fabric your using

dampen the sheet first boil water add just the dye after it sits for an hour or two pull it out and ring out excess liquid boil a big pot of water add 1 cup white vinegar and half a cup salt 2 soak

needed the right dye for the right material AND the recommended ratio per instruction, you needed for sure more than a single bottle 😭🙏

your sheets are made with synthetic fibers which means you need to use the synthetic dye. you probably used the regular dye which is intended for natural fibers

Definitely need a bigger pot. Try find a big bucket or storage container that will withstand hot water. Fabric need enough room to move when stirred

Fabric content too — synthetic or cotton or blend with linen etc — also if they’ve been treated with anything it will change the colour - yeah huge tub/washer/pot

Did you use dish soap like the bottle tells you to? The dish soap helps the dye disperse evenly and bond to the fabric

ok so the fabric matters I found out today ... I did a sheet and pillow case the pillow case lost all the color the sheet kept all the color ...
