@katyrobinbird: Moonrises over mountains have a way of slowing us down… 🌙 Before I became a parent, going to a hotsprings meant hours of relaxing. As a parent, not so much. Any time we are in water, my kids are in constant motion- using my body as a launch pad from which to dive, swim, jump, and explore. By the end of a soak session, I feel like I’ve gotten a strength workout and a painful deep tissue massage at the same time. They never stop moving. 😂 But in this moment, when the moon rose over the mountain above the @maplegrovehotsprings , a magical place, every one in the pools stopped moving and just watched in awe… my children too, for like 5 minutes, maybe it was 8. I cherished that pause, and even the splashing, jumping, and joyous screeches that came when playtime resumed. #moonrise #natureadventures #familytravels #mindfulmotherhood #raisingkids #hotsprings
