I think they usually do this before active labor? Like you’re in labor but not dilated? Also, they use an anesthetic before they do that big needle.

I have no problems with needles ever but during my C-section the spinal and epidural were the absolute worst parts. Those two were worse than anything related to C-section and recovery.
