I don’t agree with you. You obviously don’t respect the profession and that’s fine, but when young children of color see the PILOTS and FLIGHT ATTENDANTS that look like them they’re in awe. plus they make more money than military personnel. Respectfully

I get what you’re saying. I don’t think the message will be received how it should be. You are correct we are smart and capable enough to do the same thing as other races. Actually, we are usually over-qualified. I do think it’s ok to acknowledge/celebrate the hard work and BS they had to overcome to have an all black flight crew. My problem is when we get into positions of power that can affect real change, sometimes we give in and cower to the proximity of power and so called privilege that white people “have”.
