@thebeardedplantaholic: My addiction Is cyclical! Yes, we all love plants… but do you love them enough to want to cut them up into tiny pieces?! Well I do. When something isn’t going the way I planned or I run out of room or I just feel like a massacre I chop up my plants. Whilst still alive I plunge some into water smothering their roots and with others, well I seal them in plastic boxes and don’t open them from months at a time. A lot of people find this harsh but I don’t. “Threat them mean and keep them keen” my mum said and that’s just what I’ll do! Takes about three months each time and then BOOM! I have hundreds of tiny baby plants and no space to keep them! This then calls for an open house and a plant sale that takes place 3-4 times a year, oh and with cake and tea! Then with the money I get I put it back into buying more plants, growing them, chopping them and then spreading them! It’s all part of the cycle!
