That's why I visited the @Michaels Stores website and chose various outfits and props for our Elf on the Shelf this year, which will make it much easier to create surprises for my daughter. I've selected some of my favorite and creative Elf ideas for this year to share with you: First, in my opinion, the most fun is transforming our elf into a superhero for a day. All you need is a toilet paper roll, a string, and a clip. Attach a message for the kids to remove the clip and watch the superhero elf fly – the kids will love it! Next, we used our sink to create this elf lake. You can add a few drops of food coloring to make the water green or blue. I crafted a wand with a string and a chopstick, and completed the scene with this adorable outfit that comes with a cellphone and a radio (which you can use for other scenarios too). Lastly, our elf became a businesswoman and opened her own donut shop, inviting my daughter to help decorate. I used a pop-up scene set (which includes also a spa and music band scenes), along with one of the exclusive Michaels outfits that comes with a pen for the child to use in decorating. This way, you can enjoy your morning coffee while the kids are busy helping the elf.
