Stay tuned for the painted reveal! ⚠️ Helpful tips if you’re using @Wilding.Wallbeds hardware: Most of these tips are from the Day 1 install reel, but good to keep in the back of your mind while installing any surrounding cabinets. •The bed is designed to be inset! It will close into the cabinet jam. • Your measurements need to be EXACT for the bed pullout to be functional. I noticed we barely had a 1/16” play on the bed, itself. • The finished measurements they supply give an inch play at the top and 1/2” play on each side of the bed jam. This is good to know if you have surrounding cabinets. It is not mentioned in the instructions. • 6 springs on each side of the Murphy mechanism is sufficient if you build the bed out of plywood and hardwood. Once the mattress is in, it’s the perfect amount of tension. •If you haven’t tried a CA (instant adhesive) glue for assembling your crown, you should. I tried Instantbond Adhesive this time, and it’s fast and durable.
