@tailoftwospecies: Dobby, our paralyzed dog, understands us when we say the word “Pee Pee” How did we get her to understand us? Routine. Repetition. Same action. Every single time we take her to pee, we talk to her. We keep the word to make her understand constant. And our bathroom breaks are the same.. going to the bathroom, every 3 to 5 hours depending on how much water she has consumed or how cold it is. We also sometimes check her bladder by touching to see if she needs to pee. Also, Dobby has also her own way of communication.. she jumps of the bed when she needs to pee or poop ..
