@nefurjen: As a quad dominant girlie, a lot of the times my quads like to take over the work rather than my glutes when doing hip thrusts. Here are two things I’ve learned to prevent my quads from dominating 1. Warmups. Warmups are not just important to prevent injuries, but they are also great for kickstarting glute activation. I like to do 2 sets of hip abduction or back extensions before starting my main glute exercises. 2. Remember to drive through your heels and hips instead of the balls of your feet or just thrusting. This ensure that your glutes really take center stage here. I like to tell people to push the ground away from your hips. Remember, it’s not just about lifting, it’s about targeting the right muscles. —> follow GYMWITHNEFURJEN on IG for more 💓 #grwm #grwmforthegym #grwmtogoout #GymTok #gymmotivation #gymgirl #foryou
