@bratbustersparenting: Q: How to teach a 2 year old to focus? I haven’t got a clue how to teach a 2 year old to focus? I don’t think they have that ability yet, at least not when directed. They can focus on something that’s enamoured and excited them, but I’m assuming you’re expecting them to focus on what you want, not what they want. Lower your expectations and don’t expect too much from your little one. They’re only toddlers once, let them be unfocused for now as they have their whole life of having to focus ahead of them. My six year old doesn’t focus. Take sugar out if it’s hyper activity. Much easier.
