I’ve seen massive increases in clients saying that they feel insecure at work, questioning their ability and feeling unsure about how they’re next steps. My first step in career coaching with them is to identify what is them, and is happening as a result of the system they’re working in? When it came to Priya, what we found was that her working style, her values and what she needed at work were at odds with this new company. She was desperately trying to fit in but the truth was, the system didn’t set her up to succeed. It was the companies fault, it wasn’t her fault, they were just incompatible. And so we turned our energy to finding a place that suited her better and that she would be happier.
