Have you tried putting on their coat while you take them a bath? It works wonders. Removes their odor and makes their coat nice and shiny

Check the food. If there’s chicken Hugh chance they are allergic. Change the protein. Helped my frenchie heal

If your dog doesn’t stay still I suppose another option is to use cotton wool and wipe them down daily for about a week.
