@tylerpath: Training intensity / how hard you’re pushing yourself is likely the biggest workout variable (aside from progressive overload which is inherently tied to intensity) that will determine how much muscle you grow. Ideally, you should be training very close to failure if not to failure in some cases. And then if recovery is an issue, modify your workout schedule / # of sets and exercises based on how recovery goes #fyp #Fitness #gym #bodybuilding

Just go slow. I’ll use weight I know I can do 12 reps with and barely get 4-5 failing with slow negatives and static holds.
