@1nehaljoshi: Akshardham is the largest Hindu Temple in America and 2nd largest in the world. Located in Robbinsville, New Jersey the temple is built out of Italian Carrara marble, Indian pink stone, and limestone. The marble was shipped from Europe to Rajasthan, India where hundreds of artisans carved the stones by hand, assembled them, and shipped them to NJ where the temple was constructed. The mandir stands at 191 ft high and was took artisans and volunteers an estimated 4.7 million human hours to complete. The temple contains thousands of carvings depicting peacocks, elephants, and celebrated Hindu devotees of past eras.
