my thyroid surgery went exactly the same..and took around 6 hours maybe more..it sucks that they messed up with the tube!!

I wonder if it will help you to wear a scarf or similar. I found after my brain surgery I was feeling overestimated at the scar area but a hat seemed to trick myself out of the discomfort

My best friend has a massive stomach scar from a surgery, she got a zipper pull tattood at the end. highly recommend!
