Emmitt played Many years longer than Barry and he played with a line that was able to make running lanes the size of Dallas itself and not to mention Emmett had one of the best pull back lead blocker's of all time. so not to take away from what age exceptionally great and one of the best running backs ever is but I promise you that if Emma Smith would have been playing behind the line that Barry Sanders had to play behind without a lead blocker and Barry went to play with for Dallas behind the line in it played with with the lead blocker, Emmitt would be lucky to even get 700 yards a season would never get even half the touch down he got more than likely would have been injured quite a bit and or would have put the game many years sooner than he did and would not have had his career ending numbers that he did now Barry would have without a doubt my mind a mask 2,000 yards per season every year he played and would have probably a mess at least 25 to 30 more TDs to add to his total number and would have catapulted him to the number one spot and number one rank in every category and his numbers would have been so much that they would hold until the end of time cuz nobody would reach it nobody would ever reach those numbers wouldn't even get close enough to even scare anybody that's how it's definitely talented and good Barry Sanders was. he could have played in any era football and being just as good if you was in the era he played in other players such as Emmitt Smith would not and you couldn't say that with any confidence that they could and then that is a truth that nobody can argue.
