@dk_dreamhouse: Sometimes you have to just jump completely out of order because you need a little palate cleanser. For me, that was starting to paint strip cabinets! Am I the only one who finds this deeply satisfying? . . #paintscraping #paintstripped #paintstripping #citristrip #kitchenrenovation #homerennovation

Carolyn :
Put some plastic wrap over the stripper. It works better if it doesn’t dry out.

I think it would be easier if you took the cupboard doors off their hinges so you can work on them flat

Clean the residue with mineral spirits and let it all dry well before sanding or it will be A MESS!

Sunnyside Multistrip Advanced is so much better than Citristip. It’s more expensive, but it takes so much more paint off!

Do one last coat on the small spots, wipe it all up, clean it with mineral spirits, THEN sand. I spent months doing this and it is so stupidly messy.

Curious, will you keep these cabinets long term or renovate the kitchen?

Get some dental tools, a convex scraper, steel wool, mineral spirits and old newspaper! Bunched up it’s good to wipe stuff down & good to scrape onto
