We had 25min from bell to go to lunch and the bell to be back, all through highschool. If you ate at school you stood in line 5-10 of those minutes.

It starts in elementary school when kids get a 1/2 hour for lunch including being in line and coming and going from class.

When I lived in Sicily I had to bring my own portable coffee cup because most cafes didn’t have to-go coffee cups!

That is such a great observation! Remember how we used to have a “lunch hour”? Now it’s a half hour or eat at your desk (esp with wfh). 😔
