Orange Chiffon Cake. 🍊  For a soft and pillowy orange Cake follow the recipe below. Preheat oven 170c  10 inch round angel cake pan  Cook time around 45mins - 1hr depending on your oven.  6 egg whites  5 egg yolks  100ml neutral oil  230g white sugar  250ml orange juice (around 4 oranges) Zest of 1 orange  250g self raising flour 15g vanilla pudding  1/2 tsp vanilla essence  Method: 1. To a large bowl add the egg whites and gradually add the sugar, whisk until glossy soft peaks. 2. Add in the egg yolks, oil, vanilla, orange juice, zest and combine.  3. The mixture should be quite liquid but fluffy. Gradually add the flour and vanilla pudding and fold in. Mix until combined. Try not to over mix. 4. Pour into a 10” angel cake tin. Bake until golden and fully cooked in the middle. Test with a knife or cocktail stick. The cake should be fully cooked at around 45mins to 1 hour. 5. Remove from the oven and immediately  flip upside down and allow the cake to cool upside down. This prevents the cake from sinking or shrinking. You’ll notice little feet in the outer age of the tin, this keeps the tin elevated off the surface as it cools. 6. Once fully cooled around 4 hours, take a sharp straight edge knife and run it around the tin to help release the cane from the tin.  7. Remove cake fully from the tin and dust with icing sugar. 8. Enjoy 😊 *it’s normal for the cake to stick to the tin, once separating the edges it can look a little rough on the surface. ** no need to grease or line the tin.
