Went to funeral where 5 brothers dug the hole with shovels, lowered their young brother and the buried him one shovel at a time..very moving..

So what’s the whole point of the vault?? Just a curiosity is it to prevent from water to get in the casket?? Cause the vault wasn’t really sealed

Australia does it differently we lower the coffin while the straps are still under it.. that’s what happened at my dad’s funeral but the funeral home
