I started creating more content focused on showing step-by-step processes on how it was completed rather than just showing the art itself... here’s why: I realized that there was only a small percentage of people who actively consume art content. The fact of the matter is most people watch videos to be entertained. I figured if I could create something that exceeds the art audience, then I could get more visibility. Here is my thought process behind that: How often have YOU watched videos of people DIY-ing something that you know you’re never going to make on your own time? I know for me, I watch them all the time !! I believe it’s because watching something from start to finish is very satisfying. To me, being able to see the amount of work that goes into a creation makes you appreciate it more. That’s what I wanted to do with my content! I wanted to make content where both the art audience and the audience who wants entertainment to find value in my content. And honestly, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. By doing these process videos, artists can learn and get a better understanding of advanced animations AND other audiences are now able to enjoy my art more.
