While still high tourist season, the crowds are slightly more manageable than during the spring and you have a higher possibility of getting a clear view of Mt Fuji. The best time to see the autumn leaves is usually from early to mid-November. ⛩️ Arakuyama Sengen Park One of the most iconic destinations in all of Japan featuring stunning views of Mt Fuji and the five-storied Chureito Pagoda. Hike up the 398 steps before the crowds arrive at 9AM. 🌾 Oishi Park A park with a great view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji at once. In the warmer months you can stroll along the promenade where flowers bloom while looking at Mt Fuji. In the autumn, you can find fields of pampass grass and Kochia bushes. 🍁 Momiji Corridor A tunnel of red maple trees along a canal that stretches on for around 1.2 miles. The Fujikawaguchiko Autumn Leaves festival is held here every year filled with stalls selling delicious street food.
