Any proper brick layer should no the golden rule laying blocks. 5 course only then wait for mortar to dry before going any higher. School boy error

I’m no builder by any stretch, like basic diy is a push for me but am I missing something? Like shouldn’t there be some sort of binder between the bricks? Concrete etc?

Definitely staged look at the time most builders start work at 7;30 8am no way 3 hours all that done more like 3 hours setting up the stage
