remember, this doesn't nesesarily mean you're safe. LEOs frequently use "stingray" devices that mimic a cell tower to collect cell data.

There are many other apps w/ location data. Still best practice to turn location off before leaving for protests (or even your whole phone). Use a paper map to get there.
