if it's a clicker just hook a bobby pin or another ring through it and pull. i had the same issue with my first one

you can wrap two thin gauze strips around it to get a better grip. works on all my hoops

if its a hinged septum use nail scissors!!!!! put the tips gently inside and gently open it and itll open!! i had this problem last year it was so bad

Bobby pin on the side where it locks, pull upwards towards your eyebrow, pull the side that releases the lock. It doesn’t hurt I promise

When I take my clickers out I usually get a thin string and put it through my clicker then pull it up to where it’s around the part that clicks then I pull the bottom and hold it then pull the string on the top and it unclicks
