Visuals 8/10 Taste 5/10* *It is as wild as it sounds, and my attempt here came just a little short. Initially, as a date night idea spun, in the end, I decided to rework it for some other time. Why? While the components are simple and should have worked nicely, the chocolate sauce and pasta combination did not click. It didn’t work as well as it should have. Previously, I did it with a Nutella tortellini filling, banana, and white chocolate sauce, which was perfect. I’m unsure what happened here, unfortunately. Nonetheless, it was still worthy of posting as the visuals, in my opinion, came out just stunning. Of course, there’s room for improvement, and I think this dessert deserves a revisit eventually, perhaps in my upcoming cafe. I like exploring these fun cooking areas; they give an exciting twist to what we are accustomed to. Recipe Notes Below!! Semolina Noodles ( 2 portions): - 125g Semolina Flour - 1 egg + 1 egg yolk - Pinch of sea salt - 10g chocolate powder - 7g sugar - 1g salt Vanilla Ice Cream - 600g milk - 50g caster sugar - 300g white chocolate - 6 egg yolks - Vanilla Bean Caramelised Banana: - ½ banana per plate - Sugar to caramilise Chocolate Sauce: - 50g dark chocolate - 25g hazelnut spread - 125g heavy cream Finishing Touches: - Whipped cream
