@readbetweenthepines: Its damn hard work but I cannot imagine life any other way. This year has somehow been both one of the most challenging and MOST rewarding years of my life simultaneously. Between some significant losses, my broken leg and general mental lethargy I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. But today I sit here feeling overwhelmed-and so proud. Proud of myself and my husband. When we met 10 years ago we always joked about owning a fishing lodge/tourism business together. We never thought it would be a reality. Me a lower class northern girl and him a farm kid from Bellleville. Some days it felt like we didnt have enough to offer the world. Anyways I digress! At the end of the day I just want to say-be yourself. Your truly authentic self. The version of you that would have blown your younger self away. Furthermore feed the childhood curiosity and lean into those things you loved. Its worth the patience I promise.
