@hamachided: Ga’at ceremony nowadays is done for traditional babyshowers before a baby is born but traditionally in the past it occured 3 days after birth where women would visit the new mother with gifts and prepare Ga’at and put likay (butter) on her hair and sing giving praise for the healthy delivery & following that on the one week part they would wash the clothes of the mother and baby and clean her house, a new nother is not left alone for 40 days ❤️ #eritreantiktok #eritreantiktok🇪🇷🇪🇷habesha #habeshatiktok #tigringa #culture
