Yes try gas X! I got something called shoulder strap pain after surgery and it was horrible!

Surgical nurse here who has seen a lot of laparoscopic appendectomies and what you are describing is not normally what is seen after that type of procedure. You may want to call again. Get well soon

My doctor said, people who never had an appendectomy say it doesn’t hurt. When in fact, it’s extremely painful for most! Myself included.
