@jeeves_ny: Replying to @Buzyz This is a dry cleaners guide to removing a wax stain. Pretty easy overall if you have the right process / equipment. 1) Heat that wax up with a hair dryer 2) Once it’s closer to liquid than solid, blot with a clean towel and rubbing alcohol or a high proof clear liquor 3) Repeat depending on the severity of the stain This process should work on all types of fabrics however you should test a hidden area with what you plan to remove the stain with to see how the textile reacts. I always learned to remove candlewax from fabric with packing paper on top of the fabric then iron it. The wax soaks into the paper and then you can was the fabric with dish soap to remove the oils

I had to remove wax from my faux fur coat before, Google recommended paper bags and an iron, it worked so well but took a lot of paper bags and time 😅
