Brushes and sponges soak up too much product IMO. I use my fingers to apply foundation for coverage then go back with a sponge to even out anything

Every time I apply liquid concealer under my eye with the BK beauty brush it looks cakey and accentuates the texture of my skin. The triangle sponge blends better. Am I doing something wrong?

I use my fingers initially to rub on my foundation then wet my sponge with Mac Fix+ and tap it in. It gives a *chef’s kiss* look! Brushes leave streaks, no matter what brush! I’ve tried them all…
