I've heard that wrapping them in newspaper individually makes them ripen faster I laid them all out in the box with a layer of newspaper on the bottom and then one just laying on top i only stacked

tomatoes ripen in the dark, so keep them green for longer and then ripen in paper bags later in the season. the more light they get, the slower they ripen. Good luck!
