@kitchentool: How to make Marshmallows 😁 #EasyRecipe #sweet #candy #fyp Marshmallows 2 envelopes of Gelatin 1/2 C. Sugar + 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar 1 C. Water In a saucepan add sugar and a 1/2 cup of water, bring sugar water to a boil. Use a candy thermometor and get your mixture to 240°F (softball stage). While the sugar water comes to temp mix together remaing 1/2 cup water and gelatin ( I used 1 envelope of Unflavored and 1 Black Cherry gelatin) in a bowl of a stand mixer w/whisk attachment. Line a square pan with parchment and dust with powdered sugar. Once sugar water reaches 240°F turn off heat and turn mixer on low speed and carefully pour into gelatin water. SLOWLY! Then turn mixer to highest speed and whip for 5-9 minutes til fluffy and peaks form. It took about 7-8 minutes for me. Finally evenly pour marshmallow mixture into prepared pan and dust again w/powdered sugar. Allow marshmallow to set for 3+ hours. After set turn marshmallow out onto powdered surface and cut into desired sizes. Clean and Grease/dust your cutter inbetween cuts. Roll in more powdered sugar to prevent sticking. Store in airtight container 😁
