In Romania we do pickel green tomatoes with water,salt,garlic and chilli .they are a bomb.soooo good🥰🥰🥰

With mine, I slice them up, then salt the tomatoes for a few hours, then rinse off and cover with white wine vinegar and any other flavourings for however long until pickled to my liking

You might try picking the cloves out of the pickling spice. I do that for everything I pickle!
