Similarly, I saw some creators post about Palia the DAY it released on switch, not mentioning anything about the bugs/issues, because they hadn’t actually played it on switch yet!

Oh my gosh. I had the same thing happen with The Outer Wilds. I knew it was a puzzle game, turns out I’m not a fan of puzzle games. I still get comments saying I did it wrong or used guides
