I’m an 8 1/2 with all my shoes but docs i sized up to a 9 i was afraid 8 will fit to tight because I have a wide foot. but 9 fits a tiny big will extra insole help with fitting them perfect ?

I recently got my first doc and when I put them on it was a 10 . It had a little space in the front. It didnt run to half sizes and if I got a 9 it would be too small.
