Can they write me up for not having time sheets in by cert day/time when days are set to 16th/1st by 5p then on the 14th they text tgey want them that day by 11am (and they texted you at 10am)?

I think timesheets should just be a law or something. I cannot accurately pay workers in warehouses I’m not at if they don’t log time. I’m not there!

In the oilfield we have different methods of making sure people are there on time, pipe wrenches can really hurt

Yes, they have to pay you. But they could legally push it until the next scheduled payroll. Pro tip, don't be a dick to your payroll team! Thank you from the husband of a payroll manager.

If you give the time sheet late, isn’t that still the responsibility of the employer to collect it or keep track? So no delay in pay should be legal.

We are on salary and work 40 hours on the job but then there’s another 10 to 15+ hours to catch up on all the paperwork, they refused to give us OT
