Some kids have mental health issues which results to them behaving this way. A lot of times kids this young are not “bad” they just need more help than others when regulating their behavior.

I’m a Para and had to work with 2 kinders this year who did this exact thing, almost daily, and we were not allowed to intervene, had to evacuate the classroom and wait til child was removed 😡

I had kids like this in my 4-5 year classroom. It happened so much, it just became normal for admin to come in and assist.

Having the gentle parent them is the reason they feel they can act like that. You notice how generations before didn’t act like this. The one look from mom or dad saying your name once doesn’t work anymore

Nope, you nicely grab the object, get to the child’s level and give a firm NO, not need to be loud, just a firm NO. To many words and the child forgets what you told them not to do. You DONT let the child keep throwing this. They get tired of you intervening and sometimes just give up. Not in all cases obviously but I sure as heck do not let situations get this far

Is stars at home?It shows that that boy was not getting disciplined at home.He don't know no consequences.It starts at home.You gotta start young, that gentle parenting.They need to get rid of that cuz.It starts at home, especially when they little.The word NO goes a long way. And you have to be fine with it.And you have to stand ten toes down on it.And some parents don't do that, they give in too easily.They see the kids crying begging.That's why they give in too easy.That's the reason why their kids are hell on wheels.Sometimes stop giving in to these kids. Cuz, when they get older, how they gonna understand consequences, because you didn't teach them, that's what most parents mess up at, they don't teach their kids consequences. It's crazy in this world. But they rather hold everybody else. Responsible or accountable for their kids. But their kids. Js
